MICHELE VAN ALLEN

PERFORMER WITH JACK'S EARTH MATTERS

Over the past 29 years, Jack has been looking for someone to complement his style of teaching with the flair and dynamics necessary to keep children involved and entertained while learning. Without a doubt, Michele has that ability. Her stage presence will hold children spellbound. Her larger than life smile and personality, along with her rapport and understanding of how children learn, will captivate both students and teachers alike.

Michele joined EARTH MATTERS with five years experience as a stand up comedienne. She has performed in comedy clubs throughout the tri-state area. She also has a number of years experience coordinating social functions at a major resort, many of which were children's parties and activities. Having two children of her own, she has been very active as a volunteer with civic groups including a little league coach and a scout leader.

Since Michele joined EARTH MATTERS in 1996, she has proven herself to be invaluable as a performer. Her success with WELCOME TO NEW JERSEY, PENNSYLVANIA WELCOMES YOU, THE BLUE PLANET and her newest program, KIDS GOING GREEN comes as no surprise. She has been instrumental in researching and creating all four shows and is passionate about what she is teaching.
